Born in Lodz, Poland the eldest of five children. Met and married Halina in the Lodz Ghetto in June 1943. After the war, settled in Wawren, near Trier, Germany where his Polish born grandfather lived who had himself been released there as a POW after WW1. In 1960 the family emigrated to England. Had two children Ruth b.1946 and Ray b.1949.

We remember our dear father who survived the Holocaust and who is missed even after all these years. Ruth,Ronnie & families
